This is a sample page. It is different from a blog post because it stays in one place and appears in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About Us page that introduces them to potential visitors. It might look something like this:
Hey, guys! By day I work as a bike messenger, by night I make the best drinks in a nice bar and this is my website. I live in Trencin, I have a hamster Igor and sometimes I have a date with my city (I don't go to the bar but I just walk for example).
...or something like that:
XYZ Doohickey was founded in 1971 and has been providing quality service to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of amazing things for the Gotham community.
As a new WordPress user, you can go to your bulletin board, delete this page and create a new page for your content. Have fun!
